The “Bubonico Guide & Best Builds 2021” is a guide that has been published by the gaming company Bubonico. The guide includes information on what builds and items to use in the game and also provides builds for each class.
The Bubonico, like its infected ancestors, is a terrible disease for the tenno’s foes.
It’s a versatile hand cannon that can do a lot of damage with its main rate of fire while also clearing the battlefield like a plague with its secondary grenades.
The Bubonico is one of two arm cannons in Warframe. It is one of the infected weapons, which means it causes either base viral or base toxin damage in addition to the usual damage kinds, although in the case of the Bubonico, it does both.
More Information about Bubonico
The Bubonico has two modes of fire: its main fire consists of poison shots, while its alternative fire consists of three explosive viral shorts fired in short bursts.
This weapon is unique in that it does not have an ammunition reserve; instead, it regenerates ammo.
This makes the Bubonico a popular weapon that is not only flexible but also adaptive, since tenno can rip through adversaries while also providing powerful suppressive fire that will stun and force any attacker to fail.
Where Can I Get Bubonico?
The Bubonico is quite simple to get; it can be researched in the Bio lab in the dojo, which can be reached by heading to your clan dojo, or by inquiring in the recruitment chat if you don’t have one.
You’ll need 20,000 credits, 10 mutagen masses, 3 argon crystals, 1,200 plastids, and 22,000 nanospores to complete it.
The mutagen masses, which drop from daily invasions, are the most difficult to harvest, followed by the argon crystals, which drop from void missions.
The remainder should be straightforward to get by completing your usual assignments. It does have a mastery requirement of 13 to use, but you should be near to that by the time you get your hands on it.
Characteristics of Bubonico
The following are the main qualities of Bubonico:
1) The main fire
As previously stated, the Bubonico is a shotgun-modified infected arm cannon that takes up the main weapon slot on your warframe and fires at two different speeds.
On its main rates of fire, which is an automatic shot with a magazine size of 27, it has an initial damage type of impact, pierce, slash, and poison.
Because it is an elemental damage type, the numbers beside the damage types represent the likelihood of that particular damage type occurring on each heat of the Bubonico’s primary rate of fire. For example, when an enemy is hit by a single Bubonico shot, they will most likely take slash damage first, followed by toxin damage.
Because of its range, it’s best to utilize the Bubonico as a shotgun or a beam rifle like the Amprex to get the most out of its damage output.
2) Additional Fire
Now, its alternative fire, also known as radial attack, only does basic viral damage, but depending on the elemental modifications put to it, it may deal various sorts of damage.
One thing to keep in mind with this alternative fire is that the grenade bullets come in a brief burst, and the explosion has a knockback effect, so if you use it up close, you’ll be stunned but not hurt.
Advantages of Bubonico
While you may think the Bubonico to be mainly a status shotgun, which it is and can be effective, you’d be shocked to see that it has a high critical chance on its primary rate of fire, which is a base of 25%.
To add to the high base crit probability, it also has a 2.3 base crit multiplier, which is unusual for shotguns because the status changes.
It also includes built-in punch through, which means that even if the magazine capacity is limited, each lethal shot will drill through a line of adversaries, shredding their health.
This fact is reinforced by its high base slash and poison, which means it can still do a lot of damage against armoured foes like the grineer or protected enemies like the corpus.
It also boasts a high level of accuracy for a shotgun, which means that with certain upgrades, you won’t have to endanger your life by coming too close to the enemy and may comfortably lay suppressive fire from a safe distance.
On the other hand, its alternate fire packs even more of a punch, with one of the highest critical multipliers for launchers in warframe (3.5), as well as the current highest status chance of all launchers, giving you the flexibility to go for high crit damage or high status and damage without feeling limited.
Disadvantages of Bubonico
Even in Warframe, every wonderful thing has a downside, and the Bubonico is no exception. As previously said, its main rate of fire features everything a shotgun should have: high crit, intrinsic punch through, and great accuracy.
It has a low status, although that may be modified with Warframes or certain modifications. One thing that can’t be adjusted is that its projectiles have a long travel time, which might get you into problems in a hurry but can be fixed with a few pricey mods.
The majority of the downsides apply to its alternative fire, despite the fact that it has a disgustingly high crit multiplier. The challenge is getting this crit to trigger.
The alternative fire has a low crit probability of 3%; it is possible to get it to crit regularly with specific frames like the harrow or the kavat, but that would be more hassle than it’s worth, and it also needs to recharge after each use, so you can’t simply spam it.
Furthermore, if you are too near to the shoots, the self-stagger will interrupt you and make your life more difficult than it has to be, not to mention the extra discomfort of the projectiles arcing as they are fired.
Bubonico’s Best Builds
Let’s take a look at the top Bubonico builds right now.
1) Beginner Build with Secondary Fire (Status 4 Forma)
The goal of this build is to produce a beginner-friendly Bubonico build with modifications that aren’t difficult to get by.
This is a high-status construct with corrosive and heat for someone in MR 13, the corrosive section may be replaced with another element or if you have the status variant.
You can also swap out the Toxic Barrage and Charges shells for another.
2) Construction of a Secondary Fire Standard (Status 4 Forma )
The goal of this build, like the last one, is to take advantage of the Bubonico’s status chance, but this time it employs higher tier modes like charged shell and point blank primed.
Again, you can swap out modifications like charged shell and poisonous barrage, but heat is suggested since it has such a fantastic status.
3) Build a Secondary Fire High Tier (Status 5 Forma)
This build is now only for those that have access to arbitrations and are able to get the required modifications.
These modifications will take the place of the usual hells chamber and extra status mods, and will depend on secondary fire to make the most out of the galvanized modifiers’ stacking.
4) Beginner Build with Primary Fire (Crit 4 Forma)
This build takes use of the Bubonico’s high crit chance and crit multiplier by adding the two status modifications blunderbuss and ravages, giving it a status chance of 47.5 and a crit multiplier of 3.7 while not skimping on the initial toxin damage.
This is a beginner-friendly construct, with Hell’s Chamber being the only mod that would be tough to get.
5) Construction of the Primary Fire Standard (Crit 4 Forma)
This build is more typical, but instead of a blunderbuss, we use a laser sight. The reason why this mod may be used to replace a blunderbuss is because it increases the crit chance from 50% to 55%, meaning that every shot has a greater than 50% chance of being critical.
And with the Bubonico’s first multi-shot, this shouldn’t be too difficult, especially now that hunter ammunition have been added to improve slash damage.
If you want a more constant slash proc, swap out Hunter ammunition for ravage or even sweeping serration.
6) Advanced Build for Primary Fire (Crit 4 Forma)
This build now employs the primed variations of point blank and ravage munitions instead of the point blank and hunter munitions.
Now, if you truly desire hunter munitions, you can equip them, but it would mean removing the vigilante armaments and their polarity.
If you’re up against a virus-resistant foe like the infected, it’s best to stick with primed ravage instead.
7) Advanced Build for Primary Fire (Crit 4 Forma)
This build is similar to the previous version, but hell’s chamber has been changed with galvanized hell. This build is designed for endurance runs where you will be facing waves upon waves of monsters, therefore the chances of you benefiting from galvanized hell are quite high.
Conclusion
The Bubonico is an extremely expensive yet good purchase when compared to other guns.
Its dependability and versatility make it a weapon feared and admired by the tenno’s adversaries, but what really sets it apart is its capacity to tailor builds to the demands of its users.
