Discovery+’s New Shock Doc to Explore Possible Demons in the White House

One of the most important documents in American history has been found. Discovery+ is planning to air a new documentary on Monday that will explore possible demons residing in the White House. The show, which is titled “Operation Mockingbird,” tells the story behind Operation Mockingbird, an FBI operation designed to infiltrate and discredit organizations opposed to President Truman’s Cold War policies.

The White House in Washington, D.C., is perhaps one of the most famous American structures, having weathered a number of dramatic events throughout history. This means that the White House has seen its fair share of spooky tales, and the new Shock Docs from discovery+ Demon in the White House hopes to shed light on the building’s dark mysteries. It’s understandable that some of the previous inhabitants would find it difficult to say goodbye, given the number of families and precious experiences that have been shared there over the years. On November 26th, Discovery+ will show Demon in the White House.
“The seat of power at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue may be the most haunted spot in the world,” according to a news release. Demon in the White House, a new Shock Doc premiering on discovery+ on Friday, November 26th, reveals the historical roots of two bereaved First Ladies’ terror. Did they unintentionally allow a demonic presence with a nefarious objective to harm America’s presidents, their families, guests, and closest advisers?
“President Franklin Pierce and First Lady Jane Pierce’s son Benjamin died when he was 11 years old. William Lincoln, the son of President Abraham Lincoln and First Lady Mary Todd, died at the same age. During their father’s presidency, both of their children died. The Shock Doc thriller delves through archival files, emails, and diaries to piece together a chronology of strange happenings that occurred after these bereaved families sought consolation in the trendy new spiritualism and seance movement — and the potentially disastrous ramifications that ensued.
“Over the last 150 years, as different presidential families have moved into the White House, there has continued to be mysterious activity and weird occurrences inside the walls of this iconic mansion.” Harry Truman, who sent multiple letters to family members detailing the disturbances, was one of the presidents who was most public regarding paranormal activity. He wrote about the ghost of the White House nine times, according to historians, and once declared, “sure as gunshot, the house is haunted.”
“It’s thought that remodeling a building might bring ghostly activity to the surface. Truman commissioned National Park Service photographer Abbie Rowe to capture the demolition of the White House. A bulldozer and three guys stand in a corner in one regular photograph. A person looks to be translucent on the opposite side of the frame. The three guys standing at the same distance are clearly solid, with distinct shirts and ties, but the third figure has no apparent clothes. This perplexing photograph might be the first known ghost photograph taken at the White House.
“Spirits have been reported in the White House for ages. Demon in the White House is a documentary that tries to find out whether the White House is haunted by anything demonic, and if so, what it could desire.”
