To be honest, if Beckham really wants to join a contender, the 49ers make little sense. Kyle Shanahan’s club is coming off a defeat to the Arizona Cardinals, who are playing with a depleted roster. However, they are 3-5 and tied for last place in the NFC West with the Seahawks.

Despite Winston and Thomas’ injuries, the Saints have the most acute need for a wide receiver and the best chance of making the playoffs of the three teams.
